Heartless strangers abandon cat in hotel lobby, but the wholesome guests rally together to save the poor kitty and find them a heartwarming home (Video)

One of the things that we love most about cats, feline fam, is that they can really bring people together. We all live so much in our own worlds nowadays that it can be difficult to connect with others. However, cats are the great barrier-breakers - and this video proves it. One unsuspecting guest at a hotel was shocked to find an unaccompanied cat carrier just sitting in their hotel lobby. No pawrents around or anyone to claim the poor cat, so they started asking around. Unfortunately, they didn't have much luck and found out that the cat was abandoned there.

Other guests helped them in their search, and one even offered to let it stay with them for the night while its future was being decided. Long story short, the kitty is now off to its furrever home, thanks to these wholesome hotel guests who rallied together to save this poor, scared cat.     After checking the security footage we were able to determine that the owners were NOT guests staying at the hotel. Therefore, we have no information on them. Video confirms they intentionally left the cat. The person did not drive so there are no license plates to

    lobby. They knew they could come in and leave without anyone really noticing. My guess, they were a guest before or know an employee that said it is a safe place and will get adopted fast. This ended well You're good people for taking care of this cat.

    CurrentCloud2568 I know it's easy to judge, but I think that the owner did probably the best thing that they could for the pet. They left the cat in a well air conditioned and or warm place. They were sheltered. They didn't leave the cat on the side of the road. I think something should be said for that.

  • We don't know why this cat was abandoned - maybe its original pawrents were in a bad situation and this was the best thing they could do for the cat. We're choosing to believe that. You can't always assume the worst about people - you never know what demons they are dealing with that you don't even know about.
